!!! IMPORTANT !!!
To me, anyway.

I do appreciate your interest in this stamp, but would it kill you to take a look at the rest of my gallery too, hm?

-----

Stamp is animated, with a 15-second static first frame. Be patient. To use type :thumb40451529: in your journal (subscribers only).

Quotes taken from Wikiquote and various other online sources.

Disclaimer: This is not meant to promote intolerance of any kind, shape, or form towards religious people. Disapproval ≠ intolerance.

-----

Minor update. I have removed the quote by Aravind Chandrasekaran ("One who does not believe in himself believes in God.") as it has been removed from Wikiquote and I couldn't find any other credible source or citation. If anyone knows if this guy is real and/or where this quote comes from, please Note me.

-----

Udated. Even though I've sworn never to touch this cursed thing again, I have performed the first, and possibly not the last, major update (correcting typos doesn't count), adding ten new quotes. They are conveniently located at the beginning so those of you who know this stamp don't have to watch the whole thing again to see them.

Stats:
Quotes: 37 (+10 in last update)
Frames: 3596 (+1122 in last update)
Filesize: 409 kB (+118 kB in last update)

Thanks to $zilla774 for his stamp template.

Yup, spent a better part of two nights on this one little thing. :aww: In the course of which I've found out two things: One, making animations frame by frame is a major pain in the wrist, and two, Photoshop really, really doesn't like long animations and runs out of memory real fast when trying to save them to disk.

It's too bad that the Standard Stamp Format (tm) is so small, though. I had to make the font smaller on several quotes and even cut a few (most notably Gandhi's), but I still couldn't include the really interesting ones. Oh well, this'll have to do. No way am I touching this nightmare of a stamp again. ;)

Nice stamp. I want to use it, but unfortunately am too afraid to offend anybody who might...well...take offence to it. :O_o:
Anyway...wow that was a long read in tiny print. o.o by the way...did you just randomly come across those quotes or did you find them somewhere specific? I collect interesting quotes and I kinda want to write these down...but I can't write fast enough to get all them down in one go and that...again...is an awful long time to sit staring at tiny letters.

:D Gee, grow some balls (figuratively speaking) and use it. It has a disclaimer! ;p And thanks, I'm glad you like it. :thanks:

As for the quotes -> [link]

..You. Rock. So much.

If I had a sub, this thing would be all over. Love the quotes, by the way. They are full of logic--the enemy of religion.

Thanks, I'm glad you like it. :thanks:

I do have to say, though, that I don't think the quotes offer logic. They're not meant as arguments against religion, and should not be mistaken for such. They're simply opinions of various people that I identify with.

out of curiosity, how many quotes did you put on that thing? I was reading for, like, several minutes, and it never looped...x_x;;;;

Ohh, brilliant stamp. My only complaint is that the text goes a little too slowly to be read comfortably, but hell, seeing how much time you put into it... well, anyway, I'm going to abuse my free trial of a subscription to put this up in a journal entry and leave it there, forever. :XD:

Brilliant stamp. :+favlove:.

Yeah, I know, I also think the text is a little slow. It's set to 'no delay' between the frames, though, so it's the fastest Photoshop could make it as far as I'm aware. Thanks, though, I'm glad you like it. :)
